API represents all segments of America’s oil and natural gas industry. They have more than 600 members who produce, process and distribute most of the nation’s energy. In their first 100 years, the American Petroleum Institute developed more than 800 standards to enhance operational and environmental safety, efficiency and sustainability both nationally, and in countries around the globe.
