About Airlines for America

Airlines for America (A4A), formerly known as the Air Transport Association (ATA), is North America’s oldest and largest airline trade association. It represents the nation’s leading airlines, and advocates on behalf of members to promote industry-wide safety and security.

A4A collaborates with airlines, government agencies and other groups to improve aviation for the travelling and shipping public. The body works to shape key policies and measures affecting the airline industry. It promotes Standards relating to safety models, customer service and environmental responsibility.
