This document specifies safety requirements for the following loose lifting devices for cranes, hoists and hand-held manipulators: a) sheet metal clamps; b) Vacuum lifter: 1) Self-priming; 2) Non-self-priming (pump, venturi nozzle, blower); c) Lifting magnets: 1) Electromagnets (battery-powered and mains-powered); 2) Permanent magnets; 3) Electro-permanent magnets; d) Trusses; e) C-hooks; f) crane forks; g) clamps; h) Transport anchor systems for use in normal concrete, as defined in Section 3.
