This document defines test criteria and test methods for measuring gas leakage to demonstrate that packages for the transport of radioactive material meet the requirements for safe packaging in the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material document, for design verification, verification during manufacturing, verification before shipment, regular verification, and verification during maintenance.
