Provides recommendations for design and construction of circular prestressed concrete structures that use tendons for circumferential prestressing. Vertical post-tensioning is often incorporated in the walls as part of the reinforcement. Applicable to circumferential prestressing achieved by internal or external tendons that are stressed after they are placed within, or on, the wall. Design and construction of dome roofs are also covered and procedures to prevent corrosion of the prestressing are emphasized.
