Provides a procedure for evaluating pressure drop versus flow characteristics of industrial oil hydraulic filters under various conditions of flow and provides a basis of agreement between the filter manufacturer and user. Two standards of measurement for evaluation are specified: a) Class A - accurate, for referee purposes - requiring laboratory conditions. b) B - for general purposes - requiring test facilities less stringent than above.
