Covers principles used in the development of graphical symbols for logic functions. Includes examples of physical devices capable of implementing these functions, specifically for use in the preparation of logic diagrams. The symbols have been prepared with a view to electrical applications, but may also be applied to non-electrical systems. This edition supersedes AS 1102.9-1979, and differs significantly in that it dispenses with 'distinctive symbols' (which are now deprecated) and does not include matters which are either superseded or covered by AS 1103.8. Is consistent with the recommendations of IEC 617-12, but includes additional examples and requirements based on Australian practice.
