Specifies requirements for and desirable features of 2-element and 3-element watthour meters of accuracy Class 1 suitable for installation outdoors and having time-of-use (TOU) energy and demand measurement and load profile capabilities, with or without load control capabilities.

This Standard specifies requirements for and desirable features of polyphase multifunction watthour meters of accuracy Class 1 suitable for installation outdoors and having time-of-use (TOU) energy and demand measurement and load profile capabilities. It applies to 3-element meters (for 4-wire systems) and to 2-element meters (for 3-wire systems). It does not apply to meters where the voltage across the terminals exceeds 600 V line-to-line.NOTE: This Standard also lists information to be supplied with enquiries and orders for meters (see Appendix A).
