Covers requirements for all-aluminium alloy conductors (AAAC) manufactured from alloy complying with the Aluminium Development Council of Australia designation 1120, for overhead power transmission purposes. Conductors of alloy 1120 differ from alloy conductors specified in AS 1531.2 in tensile strength which is slightly lower and in conductivity which is higher.
