Adopts ISO 22881:2004 which specifies technical requirements, appropriate dimensions and requirements for testing. Applies to castors and wheels that may including braking and/or locking devices, specifically for manually propelled use in an institutional environment such as shops, restaurants, hotels, educational buildings and hospitals. Excludes hospital bed castors.
