Sets out performance tests to prove the child-resistance of covers designed primarily for use as a barrier against unsupervised access by young children to private swimming pools and wading pools. Tests are also included to ensure that the potential hazard of water pooling on the surface of the cover, either from rain or from the pool itself, has been eliminated. Instructions for installation and use of the cover, and warnings that must be given to the user are also specified.
