Sets out requirements for physical properties, dimensions, construction, surface conditions and density for material in three types, covering conventional resilience, high resilience and reconstituted cellular polyurethane, and prescribes tests by reference to AS 2282. It does not apply to material foamed in place or for use in heat-welded systems unless for load-bearing purposes, nor to material with an ash content exceeding 2 percent.
