Describes a method for the measurement of mean staple length, mean staple strength and position of break of greasy wool suitable for worsted processing. The method applies to staples of greasy wool drawn by the method described in AS 2721. It can be applied to staples drawn in other ways, but precision of measurements may be affected. The appendix describes a suitable measuring system.
