Sets out two methods (gravimetric loss in mass and direct gravimetric) for the determination of hygroscopic moisture in the analysis sample of copper, lead and zinc sulphide concentrates free from volatile organic flotation reagents and with hygroscopic moisture contents in the range 0.05 percent to 5 percent. A test for the susceptibility of a concentrate to oxidation is provided in an appendix.
