Details the requirement of a quality system in three categories, at differing levels, applicable to the engineering and construction industries, as distinct from serial production. The requirements of each system element in the three categories are detailed, such as design, measuring and test equipment, special processes, and inspection and test plans. Included is a comprehensive set of appendices as an aid to the practical application of the Standard. The Standard aligns closely with Canadian Standard CSA Z299.1-4-1985 and also recognizes the applicability of AS 1821-23 under specified conditions.
