Specifies safety requirements for single patient single pass haemodialysis equipment intended for use by medical staff, or staff working under medical supervision. Also covers haemodialysis equipment operated by the patient. This Standard is to be read in conjunction with AS 3200.1.0-1990, and is technically equivalent to IEC 601-2-16:1989, with the addition of an Australian Appendix which lists Australian requirements.
