Specifies requirements for busbar trunking systems (busways) for use on systems with rated voltages up to 1000 volt a.c. at frequencies not exceeding 1000 Hz, or 1500 volt d.c. Applies also to busbar trunking systems intended to supply luminaires through tap-off units.

Add the following paragraph :This standard also applies to busbar trunking systems intended to supply luminaires through tap-off units but does not apply to supply track systems in accordance with IEC Publication 570.
