Provides principles for controlling risks to health resulting from the emission of hazardous substances from machinery.

This Standard deals with the principles for controlling risks to health due to the emission of hazardous substances from machinery. This Standard is not applicable to hazardous substances which are a hazard to health solely because of explosive, flammable, high or low temperature, high or low pressure or radioactive properties.
