This supplement provides guidance for the certification of group forest management to AS 4708-2013. AS 4708-2013 provides forest managers with environmental, economic, social, and cultural criteria and requirements that support the sustainable management of forests.This Standard, formerly known as the Australian Forestry Standard, was first published as an interim Australian Standard in 2003 and a full Australian Standard in 2007. This is the first edition of this supplement and it has been prepared to assist groups of smaller forest managers wishing to achieve certification to AS 4708-2013.
