This Standard describes the procedure for mixing portland cement concrete in the laboratory. It is especially applicable tot he making of preliminary tests to ascertain the suitability of available materials or to determine suitable mix proportions. It assumes that the bulk sample sent to the laboratory is truly represenetative of the material under examination.
