Applies to fusion welded steel air receivers with internal diameters not exceeding 12 inches and for design pressures not exceeding 250 psi. Where receivers have internal diameters exceeding 12 inches they shall be designed in accordance with Part V of the SAA Boiler Code (AS CB1).
