This specification applies to cables and flexible cords insulated with vulcanised rubber or rubber-like compounds and intended for use in electrical installations at working voltages not exceeding 11 kV. It does not apply to cables and flexible cords for which there are separate Australian standard specifications, except as referred to in those specifications.
