This specification applies to category 'A' non-metallic endclosures for underground wiring systems which do not require further mechanical protection as detailed in Part 1 of AS CC1. At this stage only details for plastics enclosures manufactured from PVC have been included in this specification. Consideration will, however, be given to the inclusion of details for enclosures manufactured from other plastics materials on the submission of appropriate information.
