This Standard prescribes the requirements for vulcanized fibre less than 1/16 inch (1.6 mm) thick for electrical purposes. The culcanized fibre covered by this specification is normally supplied in the form of sheets of defined dimensions, the leatheroid is normally supplied in the form of continuous rolls.
