Specifies the pre-examination qualifications and the examination required for the granting of certificates for welding supervisors engaged in the supervision of arc welding and associated processes, including gouging and flame cutting, intended to form part of steel structures constructed in accordance with AS CA8 and AS CA1. This code is not intended to apply to the welding of boilers and pressure vessels or the welding of pressure pipelines.
