This Standard specifies requirements for hose and hose assemblies for use with compressed air, and having maximum working pressures of up to 2.5 MPa.NOTES:1 The test methods in this Standard ensure hydrostatic pressure test requirements are met at 23C. The maximum working pressure may be temperature-dependent and may reduce at elevated temperatures. Users are advised to consult the manufacturer for performance information at temperatures other than at 23C.2 Appendix A contains recommendations and advice on information which should be provided by the purchaser at the time of placing an enquiry or order.
