Applies to X-ray equipment declared by the manufacturer to be suitable for prolonged radioscopically guided interventional procedures. Does not apply to equipment for radiotherapy, equipment for computed tomography, accessories intended to be introduced into the patient, and mammographic X-ray equipment. This Standard modifies, and has been reproduced from, IEC 60601-2-43:2000 with variations for Australia and New Zealand included in a ZZ Appendix.
