This Standard specifies requirements for fire blankets intended for use by one person and the material used for the manufacture of such fire blankets.This Standard does not include requirements for blankets or sheets intended to be used in applications other than those given in Clause 1.2.For further information on selection, location and signage, refer to AS 2444.For maintenance, refer to AS 1851.
