Specifies requirements for the design, installation and testing of cargo barriers intended for use in vehicles, such as panel vans, where occupants share the same interior space as cargo. Requirements for lightweight nets and similar devices not intended to protect occupants from shifting cargo under crash conditions are excluded from the Standard.
