Specifies requirements for those components of X-ray equipment which generate, influence the propagation of, and detect X-radiation, and process, present and store radiographic information in radiological installations with diagnostic X-ray systems using radiographic film in direct radiography. Does not apply to mammographic, intra-oral, cephalometric and dental panoramic X-ray equipment. This Standard is to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS 3200.1.0:1998. It modifies, and has been reproduced from, IEC 61223-2-11:1999 with variations for Australia and New Zealand included in an Appendix.
