Specifies description and requirements for shipboard cables for control circuits not susceptible to interference for rated voltage 250 volt a.c. or d.c. Adopted from but not equivalent to IEC 92-376:1983.

This standard applies to shipboard cables intended for control and similar circuits not susceptible to interference, for example pilot lamp circuits, alarm circuits, etc.It lays down the standard description and requirements for such cables.Cables described in this standard are not intended to be used for lighting and power distribution.The rated voltage is 250 V a.c. or d.c.
