Specifies performance and safety requirements for jet nebulizers and associated portable air pumps used in respiratory drug therapy. Appendices include methods for determining minimum aerosol output, residual volume, minimum fill volume and performance at normal orientation and at maximum angle of tilt of the jet nebulizer, determination of particle size and non-spill volume.
