This International Standard deals with the safety of electric blankets, pads and other flexible appliances that heat the bed or human body, for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 volt. Amendment 2 applies to Cover Page, Foreword, Title, Contents, Introduction and Clauses 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 11, 15, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25, 29 and Annexes and the Bibliography.
