Gives basic requirements for envelopes, including window-faced envelopes. Paper quality, method of sealing and colour are specified, and for window envelopes the size and position of address panel and a transparency requirement are stated. The limits of dimensions of envelopes for mechanical handling are given, and appendices describe a test for opacity of windows and include notes on Post Office requirements.
