Within the general scope as defined in the Introduction, Section I, this Volume applies to the load-handling activity (LHA) of loads suspended from rotorcraft using a cargo sling or powered hoist, or other attaching means to lift, carry, pull, or tow a jettisonable load outside of the rotorcraft airframe.
