ASME PALD 15 : 1990

This volume applies to self-contained auxiliary stands designed as a means of partial support for, and the positioning of, vehicle components during their installation/removal, but not for use in stabilizing or supporting vehicles. This volume does not apply to devices classified as vehicle support stands (see PALD-4), to units whose rated capacity is more than 3/4 ton, or devices classified as stabilizing stands.
