This British Standard specifies requirements for materials, construction, dimensions, performance, marking and packaging of mattresses and bumpers for children’s cots, cot beds, perambulators, carrycots, cribs, moses baskets and similar domestic articles.
This British Standard is not applicable to mattresses with loose fillings (e.g. bean bag type or feathers) or mattresses with covers which are not level and can form pockets (i.e. button down type).
