Specifies accuracy requirements and geometrical tests with reference to BS 3800. Relates to machines in general use and of normal precision. Does not apply to testing of the running of the machine (vibrations, abnormal noises, stick-slip motion of components, etc.) or to machine characteristics such as feeds, speeds, etc.
