Gives requirements for flexible cotton 3 strand, Z laid rope for aeronautical purposes in three sizes. Those of 1 inch and 1 1/2 inches circumference with thread of S twist and the strand formed from the thread with S twist. Those of 2 inches circumference with the thread of Z twist and the strand from the thread with S twist. In each size of rope six yarns dyed red shall be laid up in one of the strands and six yarns dyed blue shall be laid up in another strand.
