Specifies an interface system for interconnecting electronic measuring apparatus and associated devices into an instrumentation system. Applies to systems in which the data exchanged is digital and is particularly suitable for transmission path lengths of up to 20 m and with a maximum of 15 devices interconnected by one contiguous bus.
