This Part of this European Standard specifies the requirements for materials (including metallic clad materials) for industrial piping and supports covered by EN13480‑1 manufactured from of metallic materials. It is currently limited to steels with sufficient ductility. This Part of this European Standard is not applicable to materials in the creep range. NOTE Other materials will be added later by amendments. It specifies the requirements for the selection, inspection, testing and marking of metallic materials for the fabrication of industrial piping.
