Defines performance requirements and tests for head protectors for ice hockey players, in order to reduce risk of head injury without affecting the form or appeal of the game. Covers construction, shock absorbing properties, puck impact resistance, penetration, retention system properties, field of vision and marking and information. Will not protect from neck or spinal injuries.
