Defines limits for the composition of nitrogen and test methods for verifying nitrogen composition. Covers nitrogen Type I (gaseous) and Type II (liquid) that are intended for the pressurization and purging of propellant systems of space systems, as well as the preparation of oxygen-nitrogen mixtures used for breathing purposes on space vehicles. Applies to nitrogen used in flight hardware, systems, ground facilities and equipment and influents only to the extent defined herein.
