Defines preparation, testing, and procedure for the use of acidic aqueous silver dichromate dosimetry system to measure absorbed dose in water when exposed to ionizing radiation. It covers the spectrophotometric analysis procedures for the dichromate system, and is applicable only to gamma rays, x-rays and high energy electrons.
