This standard, to be used in conjunction with IEC EN 50085-1:2006-03, specifies the requirements and tests for duct systems (CTS) and duct systems (CDS), intended for the housing of insulated conductors, cables and, where appropriate, other electrical equipment and, if necessary, for their separation for electrical protection purposes, in electrical installations and/or telecommunications systems.
