This document contains the initial requirements of dimensional, optical, mechanical and environmental performance at the beginning of the life cycle that a connector, terminated with a 9° angled APC type zirconia cylindrical ferrule, and the single-mode resilient alignment sleeve for the simplex connector set (consisting of plug/adapter/plug) must meet, in order for the adapter and strap to connect so that they can be classified as a compliant product.
