This part of EN 60320 applies to two-pole connectors for alternating current only, with and without earth contact, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V and a rated current not exceeding 16 A, for household and similar purposes, and intended for the connection of a flexible power supply cable to electrical appliances or other electrical equipment powered at 50 or 60 Hz.
