Italian version of the European Standard CENELEC EN 61048, equivalent to Publication IEC 1048 (1991) plus Corrigendum (1992), with the original text in the English version opposite the Italian text, the Standard applies to AC capacitors, both self-healing and non-self-healing, with a power less than or equal to 2.5 kvar, capacitance greater than 0.1 μF, having a nominal voltage not exceeding 1000 V, used in the circuits of discharge lamps operating at frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz at an altitude not exceeding 3000 m.
