This Standard applies to electromechanical air contactors for domestic and similar uses, the main contacts of which are intended to be connected to circuits whose rated voltage does not exceed 440 V in alternating current with rated operating currents less than or equal to 63 A for Usage Category AC-7a and 32 A for Usage Categories AC-7b and AC-7c and with rated conditioned short-circuit currents less than or equal to at 6 kA.
