Proposes an industry standard on the procurement of professional services in the Construction Industry. It constitutes a statement of ethics which underpin best practice selection procedures. the code applies to the selection of consultants and sub-consultants. The document sets out the ethics and obligations of the principal and the consultant and details appropriate selection procedures, project definitions, briefing documents, invitations for proposals, receipt of proposals, evaluation of proposals, negotiation and selection.
